5-9kimono の生地について
今期の着物「シマシマとギンガム」「アンティークリース」「フレー
ムサラサ」「ブルームフロスト」は、5-9kimono プロジェクトのメ
ンバーでもある【あづまやきものひろば】が監修し、生地からオリ
ジナルとして織りました。
三河地方は、三河木綿や三河帯芯が有名な産地で、日本で最初の棉
の伝来地とも言われています。
昔ながらの鈴木式自動織機（スズキ自動車の前身）で、職人が今回、
綿麻生地に挑戦し、こだわりのオリジナル生地が生まれました。
